Creating Monitoring Protocols

To create a new monitoring protocol, click the “Add” button in the upper right-hand corner of the Monitoring Protocols page. Vivalink supports crafting monitoring protocols tailored to your study’s or care team's specific needs.

Defining Rules and Notifications

You can define various rules within the monitoring protocol to dictate how ECG events and basic vitals thresholds are flagged and presented in the portal. These rules allow for precise control over which events trigger alerts and how those alerts are communicated:

• Notification Methods: Select between Email and SMS notifications, and specify the recipients, such as healthcare professionals, research staff, or family members.
• Customizable Templates: Vivalink provides default templates for email and SMS content and can also assist in creating custom templates that meet your specific communication needs.

Pre-Configured Protocols

For convenience, the “Quick Patient Assignment Monitoring Protocol” has already been pre-configured. However, it can also be modified later to align with the needs. To review the details and rules defined within this protocol, click on its name in the Monitoring Protocols List.

Using these tools, you can ensure that your monitoring protocols are comprehensive, tailored to the study's or the care team's needs, and capable of delivering timely notifications to the appropriate recipients.
