Heart Rate Rules
In addition to ECG Event Rules, heart rate thresholds can also be defined based on ECG analysis. This includes setting both upper and lower limits for the heart rate range, as well as specifying the duration during which the heart rate must be detected to trigger an event.
- Add ECG Heart Rate Rules:
- Click the “Add ECG Heart Rate Rules” button to start setting up your parameters.
- Define Heart Rate Thresholds:
- Enter the desired upper and lower heart rate limits that are relevant to your study or healthcare scenario.
- Specify the duration for which the heart rate must be sustained within these limits to trigger an event (e.g., a heart rate above 150 BPM for more than 5 minutes).
- Flagging on the Web Portal:
- Indicate how these heart rate events should be flagged on the Web Portal, ensuring that critical occurrences are easily identifiable.
- Set Up Notifications:
- If notifications are desired, configure the settings to send alerts via email or SMS to designated recipients, such as physicians or technicians.
- This ensures that significant heart rate events receive prompt attention.
