Multiple Event Rules
You can create rules to detect and flag ECG events that occur multiple times within a specific period. For example, if a patient experiences more than three pauses within an hour, an alert can be generated.
Steps to Configure Multiple Event Rules
- Add Multiple ECG Event Rules:
- Click the “Add ECG Multiple Events Rules” button to begin configuration.
- Select Event Type and Occurrence Threshold:
- Choose the type of ECG event you want to monitor, such as pauses, arrhythmias, or other irregularities.
- Specify the number of occurrences that trigger the rule within a set duration (e.g., if there are more than three pauses in one hour, the multiple event will be triggered when the fourth event occurs within the hour).
- Flagging on the Web Portal:
- Indicate how these multiple events should be flagged on the Web Portal to ensure they are clearly visible and actionable.
- Set Up Notifications:
- If desired, configure notification settings to alert the appropriate individuals, such as healthcare providers or research staff, via email or SMS when the specified conditions are met.
