Adding Devices
Users with an Admin role can manage and update the device inventory within the Vivalink Web Portal. Devices can be added by navigating to the Devices Menu.
Device Menu / Device List
Devices are organized by type and can be added to the Device List through separate tabs for each device category.
Device Types
For bulk imports, click “Download Template” to access a sample spreadsheet file outlining the device type and the correct device identifier format.
Bulk Import of Devices
Devices can be assigned to specific sites directly within the spreadsheet file if needed. Once your spreadsheet is prepared, click “Import Device” and select the device information file to complete the bulk import process.
Manual Entry of Devices
For single-device entries, click “Add Device.” A pop-up window will appear, allowing for the manual entry of device details to be added to the Device List.
Device-Patient Assignment
Devices can be assigned to patients manually through the Patient Management menu or automatically via the Quick Patient Assignment feature. Once a device is assigned to a patient, this association will be reflected in the Device List. Devices can be manually disassociated from a patient by clicking “Release” next to the corresponding device if needed.
It’s worth noting that manually releasing a device is not always necessary. The Quick Patient Assignment feature will automatically reassign devices to a new patient if a different patient is recognized in the Mobile App paired with the device.
Deleting Devices
You can remove devices from the Device List by clicking “Delete” next to each one you wish to remove.
